The Ilustre Colegio de Médicos de Madrid (ICOMEM), Spain’s largest medical association, launched ICOMEM Media using Icareus Videopilvi to provide doctors and citizens with reliable, evidence-based scientific information.

Founded in 1893, ICOMEM serves as Madrid’s hub for professional, scientific, and cultural medical activities. With nearly 43 000 members, it is a key reference point for continuous medical education and professional development.

Haaste

As a leading institution for medical training, ICOMEM wanted to create an online platform dedicated to the dissemination of scientific and healthcare knowledge.
The goal was to make live and on-demand educational video content easily available to both healthcare professionals and the public.

The new video service needed to:

  • Offer intuitive tools for producing, editing, and distributing webinars and recordings
  • Deliver videos in a branded, accessible environment within the ICOMEM website
  • Support both live streaming and on-demand viewing
  • Ensure reliability and ease of use for non-technical staff

With Icareus Video Cloud, ICOMEM created an integrated online media hub within its website: a single access point for webinars, interviews, training sessions, and live events.

The platform provides:

  • Centralised management of all video content
  • Easy publishing of live and on-demand videos through the ICOMEM Media site
  • Recording and editing tools for internal staff
  • Secure hosting and reliable streaming infrastructure

Icareus Video Cloud’s intuitive management interfaces enable ICOMEM personnel to independently create new events, manage recordings, and publish content to their audiences.
