Helsinki-kanava is the city\u2019s video communications platform, bringing residents timely content ranging from City Council meetings to concert recordings and the Mayor\u2019s community events.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-54c1df8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"54c1df8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>The City of Helsinki<\/strong> and <strong>Icareus<\/strong> have worked together on the development of Helsinki-kanava since 2019, when Icareus won the public tender to modernize the service. As a result, the service is faster, more secure, and better scalable.<\/p><p>The renewal addressed three key challenges:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Branding<\/strong>: The visual appearance of Helsinki-kanava was updated to match the city\u2019s latest brand guidelines.<\/li><li><strong>User Experience<\/strong>: The service now includes features such as \u201cContinue Watching,\u201d content recommendations, and improved support for video series.
